wake-up call

i woke up to chris singing with live. and to the air and noise pollution of the lawn mower. i don't know if it was the best or worst wake-up call. but that performance was really worth the suffocation and headache. i have a really high respect for live. my all-time faves include i alone, selling the drama, and lightning crashes. i'm adding i walk the line to the list because of chris. their performace was just amazing! watch out for the replay of american idol. they're really awesome.

did i mention that i like bucky? well, except for his teeth... but i love chris! and i'm being really shallow. but who cares? anywayz, carrie underwood was also there. i was extremely unhappy about last year's results. that was one thing buddy and i disagreed about. bo bice outsang carrie (the judges said so) and her songs all sounded the same.  now that bo has his own single, i can say that he didn't live up to himself. the song was too ordinary. i hope he comes up with something better.

i won't be a spoiler so i'm not posting this year's results. even though i'm really tempted to. i love the new american idol's song. my sister thinks elliott can do a better job. round here, we think chris and elliott would have made the best top 2. i wish i could post pictures on this blog. i still can't. i hate this glitch. it's been going on for months.

by the way, friendster has a new feature. my sister equates it to a big STALK ME sign. lol.

really

To really love a woman
To understand her
You gotta know her deep inside
Hear every thought
See every dream
And give her wings when she wants to fly

And when you find yourself
Lying helpless in her arms
You know you really love a woman

When you love a woman
You tell her that she’s really wanted
When you love a woman
You tell her that she’s the one
She needs somebody
To tell her that it’s gonna last forever
So tell me have you ever really
Really really ever loved a woman

To really love a woman
Let her hold you
Do you know how she needs to be touched ?
You gotta breathe her
Really taste her
To you can feel her in your blood
Then when you can see your unborn children in her eyes
You know you really love a woman

When you love a woman
You tell her that she’s really wanted
When you love a woman
You tell her that she’s the one
She needs somebody
To tell her that you’ll always be together
So tell me have you ever really
Really really ever loved a woman

You got to give her some faith
Hold her tight
A little tenderness
You gotta treat her right
She’ll be there for you
Taking good care of you
You really gotta love your woman

And when you find yourself
Lying helpless in her arms
You know you really love a woman

When you love a woman
You tell her that she’s really wanted
When you love a woman
You tell her that she’s the one
She needs somebody
To tell her that it’s gonna last forever
So tell me have you ever really
Really really ever loved a woman
Just tell me have you ever really
Really really ever loved a woman
Just tell me have you ever really
Really really ever loved a woman.

[Bryan Adams]

i love chris! ^_^ he sang that song earlier on american idol. it was awesome! but this post is not about him... "have you ever really loved a woman?" reminds me of my elder bro. he dedicated that song to his first (ex)girlfriend. i'm dead if he'll learn about this. but i love the risk. lol.

grey's anatomy came after. meredith's mom in the series suffers from alzheimer's. she can remember her scrub nurse, who worked with her for 8 years, but not her daughter. it's outrageous! i mentioned in the previous post that the show makes me think of my brother. i hope the day won't come that he would be like the nurse who chose to spend her last days in the hospital or the mother who forgot her family but remember those she worked with. both women's lives were centered on their practice. i think that's just sad.

biding my time

i've been sentenced to two hours of study everyday for the summer in addition to attending a speech improvement class which my sister handles.

i just received a reply from my professor. he said i probably have to submit one to three more reports (instead of at least two machine problems). yey! ^_^ i'll ask one of my friends to mail me a completion form so i could send it back before the enrolment for the first sem starts. that's one less burden when it's done.

my favorite show these days is grey's anatomy. it's a mild version of the training my elder brother went through as an intern. i can't even spell the name of the specialization he took up. it's head and neck surgery. he's a lot busier. i think he visited only once twice last sem. maybe i'll be more understanding and less demanding. maybe not.

i think i'll go play dota now. i was unable to finish the game earlier.
