mix and match

this is a run-through of my vacation so far.

i am back in iligan. yes, i am... in invisible mode. blame my dental necessities and my failure to announce my not-so-new number. i missed the chance to meet with people i haven't seen in a long time. sigh.

i have a routine when i come home--buy bibingka for daddy, greet my cousins next door, and give quicky a belly rub. then instead of resting (i only had two hours of proper sleep, then a nap during my flight), i had a chore, and another one, and another one. this went on for a couple of days.

my budget for christmas gifts doubled. but i recently realized that increasing my spending just because i have more to spend is not a very wise thing to do because i won't be able to save.

kuya went back to manila early because he had a surgery to perform on the day after christmas. his flight was supposed to be on christmas day but it got delayed then moved to the next day. i hope there was a lesson learned for this OR junkie.

i also had a number of whirlwind shopping sprees. stuff are easier to buy (due to the proximity of the stores) and they are cheaper here.

dunkin donuts is the place to meet here. i met eigen and jordan there with my sister then we walked all the way to the sushi place at batsy's (did i spell that right?) in pala-o. i also met with joan and dominic there then we went to zoey's. the food and coffee were nice. we had pizza bites, burger, calamares, iced coffee, sprite, mocha frappe, and choco mousse. ^_^ we have pictures. will upload them later.

i finally got to ym with benj. he's been so busy...

i've been suffering from insomnia and indifference lately. hope things will be okay starting today.

i've also been playing neopet games again and travian at server 6, NE.

oh yeah, pursue the chicken named holiness! or something like that. =p

nagnertz kami nina kuya ram, roy, at cha. akala ko hindi na ako marunong kasi ang tagal ko nang hindi nakapaglaro. pero nagnertz ako during the first few rounds of the first game tapos nanalo kami ni cha sa second game. ang funny nga kasi ilang rounds na kaming lampas sa 100 kaso hindi pa rin kami nagnenertz kaya hindi pa agad natapos yung game. tsaka humahabol sina kuya ram at roy. ayun, pressure. buti na lang... miss ko na ang ibang navs lalo na si ate 3na(queen of nertz), jinky at charie(mga halimaw), jordan(na may nertz award din gaya ko), kuya ram(bilang partner na nagsasabi ng "beautiful" at sobra-sobra magbigay ng affirmation), cristina and heather. ang sarap siguro magtime travel. 117 nga pala score namin.

*nertz - 1. the name of the game 2. pagkaubos ng 13 cards, ends the round, needed to end the game aside from the set score, which is usually 100.

woohoo!

i just defeated dudoy in a one-on-one game of dota. he is one of the best players among us, if not the best player. he tried a new character, N'aix. while i used my far-from-mastered Sven. i didn't even know what stuff to buy. i wasted so much time looking those up that he reached three levels while i was at the base. my li'l bro said it was hopeless because i couldn't survive our battles. i struggled to defend my towers and farm enough money to at least recruit my hero in case i died (which happened a lot). i only stood a chance when i was surrounded by my trents and when i invested in plate mails. my trents also destroyed the throne while we were battling on the right lane. neither of us expected my creeps to succeed in attacking both towers at the center, which i already damaged, or even the throne. when i called, we both laughed and laughed and hung up.

i also worked on editing a few of my uncle's pictures for his business under dumay's instruction. i don't get paid for the job, but my cousin does. when i've learned enough from assisting him, then i could dream of becoming one of them graphic artists.

someone actually has the patience to teach me step-by-step, imagine that! knowledge is priceless. more so when it sprung out of my boredom. ^_^

biding my time

i've been sentenced to two hours of study everyday for the summer in addition to attending a speech improvement class which my sister handles.

i just received a reply from my professor. he said i probably have to submit one to three more reports (instead of at least two machine problems). yey! ^_^ i'll ask one of my friends to mail me a completion form so i could send it back before the enrolment for the first sem starts. that's one less burden when it's done.

my favorite show these days is grey's anatomy. it's a mild version of the training my elder brother went through as an intern. i can't even spell the name of the specialization he took up. it's head and neck surgery. he's a lot busier. i think he visited only once twice last sem. maybe i'll be more understanding and less demanding. maybe not.

i think i'll go play dota now. i was unable to finish the game earlier.

i love my bear!

dudoy pawned my head a number of times. his omnislash makes me run for life. but with lean's coaching, we pushed and ultimately won. i'm starting to love this game (dota). i used to be a warcraft addict. this is so different. it's exhausting. but fun. i want to try the one with the shadow dogs next time. after some rest. hehe.

when annaj is online on conquer, i'm not. dumay had been using my character for a time. my other cousins posted a birthday greeting on my day. that was nice.
